Christelle DeMelo'southward life inverse drastically a yr ago when her mother died giving birth to her blood brother Lucien before that she was your happy average teenage girl enjoying life and school just the expiry of her mother completely changed everything, she had to give up school, start working total fourth dimension on peak of becoming a female parent to her baby blood brother all at just eighteen years of historic period. Equally if this wasn't enough the only family she has is her step-father who, since the decease of his wife has turned into a drunken mess.
Christelle finds herself in the perfect task cleaning for Alexei Petrov a wealthy business homo but Alexei turns out to be much more than just your average business homo.
I liked Alexei, I mean seriously what's not to like he's alpine, dark, handsome and mysterious and I pictured him exactly as he is on the embrace (I love that pic and that guy)
Christelle, where practise I start with Christelle?
I liked her but...look I know her life is unbelievably incommunicable and it's hard to explain exactly what I hateful without come beyond every bit a complete bitch but she was only a little too subservient and when they struck the deal I only felt so utterly sorry for her, the balance was wrong and what should take been a hot scene just didn't piece of work that way for me. I know the blurb says 'led her into the fell easily of Alexei Petrov' and in that example he was incredibly cruel which would take been fine if it fit in with his character but most the time he was actually quite sugariness with her, gruff yes merely even so sweet then I struggled a bit with that function.
I as well thought the Mafia would play a larger part.
Roman intrigues me and then I'm going to continue an center out for his volume.
This was an enjoyable read, the ending seemed a lilliputian abrupt only that could simply be me I exercise love my epilogues and e'er feel a bit cheated when I don't go ane.

Short, surprisingly satisfying mafia romance despite the many spelling and grammatical errors, and the implausibility of the Mafioso characters, who resembled more a bunch of frat boys than hardened criminals. Nonetheless, the sweetness of the knight-in-shining-armor-rescuing-damsel-in-distress plotline, the cuteness of the baby, and the possessive, mine-mine-mine, sexiness of the hero made up for the flaws of the story. A nice, short, entertaining read.
Alpha Possessive Heroes
Surprisingly I thoroughly enjoyed this story! It has virtually everything I want in a book. :)

Hero is very alpha, OTT possessive, sometimes a jerk merely most of the time sweetness. Heroine was okay, a little doormat simply non annoying kinda manner. (make sense? lol.) Story line was practiced, nil unique but it was engaging and I was really satisfied with everything I'k slapping this as five Stars!

Quick and very enjoyable read!! The story of Alexei (Russian Mafia guy) and Christelle (Innocent, pupil). Christelle is Alexei's cleaning lady and the few times he has come in contact with her he likes it. Somewhen the like turns into desire. He makes her an offering she simply can not refuse.

I absolutely loved Alexei! He was sexy, hard, dominant, alpha and and so very sweet when he needed to exist. He had me swooning with the way he handled Lucien and Christelle. He was and so soft and sweet with Lucien, it was downright touching. However, he could be very hard on Christelle, which was but hot in the bedroom. He took what he wanted from her. He gave her everything she needed and was unapologetic nearly it. He stayed a true alpha-male throughout the entire book! I also like Christelle. She did not take a strong personality, and pretty much allow Alexei run the show. I liked her dauntless head talk, merely deep down inside, she knew she wanted Alexei. She had a lot of pride, but was likewise very sensible by looking at the big picture. For me, they just worked as a couple.

Why Non 5 Stars?

Where is the Next Volume? At that place has to be another book....right? For me, information technology did not end in a good way. Information technology was rushed and I did not get a glimpse into the future. Also, what about the other 3 mafia brothers and the retired sidekick? There were descriptions of these characters, interactions and and so nothing. I was thinking perhaps each would get their own book, but I do non think this is a series. I would honey to read these books. If this is non a series, so this actually needed an epilogue!!

This story follows Christelle, a young daughter who is forced into a mother role for her baby brother, subsequently her mom dies during childbirth, and her stepdad spirals into a drunkard depression and starts physically abusing her. She is in a really hard spot, and finally got a interruption by getting a well paying job as a maid for the wealthy Russian "accountant" Alexei. Seeing that Alexei is barely home, she tries to balance childcare of her baby brother by hiding him in the business firm, while working hard cleaning. Of course, Alexei finds himself attracted to her and finds out near her cloak-and-dagger. Once he finds out her circumstances and how desperate she is, he has leverage to brand her his...

For the well-nigh office, I did like Alexei a lot. He was all alpha caveman possessive "mine mine mine" towards Christelle. I liked how crazy jealous he was over her, even though at heart he knew Christelle was a prissy girl who would not cheat or go with other men. He just couldn't assistance himself. The only real true risk was her leaving him due to how their human relationship started with compulsion and noncon. He was very adoring towards her, and it was really quite sweet, as long as she stayed in his muzzle, hahaha! I was a scrap put off that he put her on nativity control. I know it's messed upward, but I like information technology when the crazy jealous possessive "heroes" attempt to go the heroine pregnant so they won't always leave them. Hey, this is all fantasy anyways! Likewise, that would've been more in line with his character - it'southward non like he cared about doing terrible things like cornering her and coercing her into sleeping with him. Their relationship basically started out with the threat of her and the baby going homeless or she sleeps with him and becomes his.

There was a scene that put me off, where even afterwards coming together the heroine and feeling great attraction and possessiveness towards her, the hero was shown to be sleeping with another woman. Granted, this was earlier he really made the bargain with her and made her his. But I was notwithstanding uncomfortable with how he had been so into her, simply was still sleeping with some other woman. At least the heroine at that betoken wasn't really fifty-fifty all that into him, and just idea of him as a trustworthy authority figure who could help her. But every bit the reader who sees how deeply he felt for her already, information technology was off-putting. The simply things that made it a bit better was that for the longest fourth dimension, the heroine evidently didn't feel equally strongly for him equally he did her, he actually didn't have anything to do with other women after they started their relationship, and he definitely suffered more afterwards because the heroine was then unsure of their human relationship and kept near leaving.

I know some people mentioning the heroine being a doormat, just I don't really think so. She was just young and very selfless. She was being a realist about her situation, and got taken reward of by her older rich employer. Luckily, because this is a romance novel, he happened to be bonny. I think that she really was stuck in a hard identify, and while there might take been solutions and options available to her that could accept provided assistance, she was too young and inexperienced to know. I felt for her and thought she wasn't necessarily a chump, but someone dainty and naive.

Safety:
* Heroine is a virgin
* Hero is definitely not a virgin
* Noncon / Coercion
* Deadline instance where hero sleeps with OW (act offscreen), but he isn't actually together with heroine yet and heroine doesn't fifty-fifty like him similar that yet.
* No real case of OM. There are many guys who flirt with heroine, but heroine tries to get away and nicely discourages it. Hero still gets crazy jealous.
* Nativity control, ends earlier showing if they managed to have kids. By the cease, hero says he wants to have kids with heroine.
